  1. The last dressy kid might have a gender identity disorder. Or he might be
gay. Or he might just have a really, really weird preferences.

  2. Jesus H Christ, those ‘army’ parents are lunatics! Where is the fun in
their house? It’s like putting your kids through some kind of assault
course 24/7. Those kids are either going to need therapy or end up in a
    crack house…..or both.

  3. I thought the whole point of getting that rich is that your kids didn’t
have to go to college and get a job haha. My dog doesn’t need to know
“want to go outside?” in Swahili but I’d pay people to think he’s fluent if
money was burning that big of a hole in my pocket.

=_= I would remove my entire family so far from reality it would be
ridiculous. I’d pay my mom to forget that she had to work so hard her
entire life to raise me. I’d give her any dollar amount she wanted in
return for every bead of sweat or tear shed to get the two of us to where
we are now. Her golden years would be paid for in real gold. That’s just
what I would do for my mom. I suppose with children you are playing on a
whole different level of love, desire to supply, and wish that they would
never want for anything—I don’t have children so I can’t even comprehend.

  4. Discipline is a good thing. But too much of a good thing is bad thing.
Those military kids will rebel eventually and they will do it hard. Balance
is important. Funny how they put 2 extremes in one show 😀 also as much
kudos to the mom with the dressy boy 🙂 however his life may be a little
difficult in his teens although i sure hope i’m wrong

  5. I honestly can’t hate on the first lady… If the kids are respectful and
getting good grades and she can afford to splurge, then why not? I’ll tell
you, it seems like her methods are working…. Seems like the sister is
    HATING….

  6. The military parents were on Wife Swap. I see that they already left behind
the “changed lifestyle” they claimed they had after the show. Morons.

  7. You can’t buy love. This woman is buying her way into her kids life. Their
kids are going to end up not having to work a day in their life if this
continues. They will come to their mom for money and stuff.

  8. If there are any parents who are reading this, your kids are not your
property. You do not have the right to mold them in your image. Your kids
are individual human beings who have their own values and personalities.
You cannot force them to do anything. You cannot even force them to act
in their own best interest. You cannot control every aspect of their lives
and force them to only make the decisions that you want them too. As a
parent, all you can do is set them up to make good choices. It is your job
to lead them to water but you absolutley cannot force them to drink it.

  9. This is probably the best definition of ‘being normal’. It’s not being
about ordinary or average, it is about knowing that you are not alone.

  10. Amazing video on techniques to use with kids…. A must watch video! For
parents and can probably be applied for teachers as well….

  11. This is a great little video that gives parents a way to measure what
normal behavior is -and provides new tools to help motivate your kids.

  12. It’s great how you can dismiss someone like that with real hard facts that
are clearly not prejudiced!!! This guy made a free app to try to change the
relationship between parents and children by empowering children in things
they don’t usually feel they have control over. Whether he is right or not,
he is trying to do something great, at least have respect for that.

  13. Your loss.if you want to write him off. Sounded like a bunch of good ideas
to me. Personally I don’t judge ideas on the so-called “credibility” of the
person delivering them. I make my mind up whether they sound like good
ideas. But people like you just love to knock stuff. Well it’s your loss.

  14. Well then he remembers what it’s like to be one. People like you are
obviously SOOOO mature and grown up and sensible and fucking SERIOUS that
you forget how to enjoy life. Well done for being such a mature adult
Sarah. You sound a like a really unhappy person and you probably take it
out on your kids. I feel sorry for them.

  15. Sarah, there’s always someone who has to spoil a good talk with your stupid
negative comments. Try and be more open to ideas rather than writing them
off instantly. But hey, your loss.

  16. Who on earth will take parenting advise from 25yr old nerd who has never
parented a day in his life!!! People like that can only use data/stats and
not real life experiences, he has zero credibility.
