  1. John Goldberg. If there was no ‘free market’, he wouldnt need to sell any
    book or tell anything.

Also, in case you didnt notice – you cant do SHIT in a capitalist country
without money. To do anything, either you need to have heaps of money, OR,
the thing you do must be worth money so that others will distribute it for
    you.

until 2000s, there wasnt internet to allow people to reach millions of
people without having to shell out millions of dollars. only way was
through books. but see, now there is a way like that, and you are watching
his videos, lectures, all the important stuff for FREE.

    so ?

dont talk without thinking next time.

  2. i got a name for ya, charoltte Iserpyt, get a grip, it’s straight forward,
it;s a race to build zombie race, payed education is no promise to produce
intelligence, You judge me, I just think your not informed. What secret
group do you bend over for?

  3. i hated school, the stink of it,the hate filled miasma that oozed in
pepuety from the very bones of the place..exited sharply, absently ..
.education ruins lives, education is a word, education is a weapon,
education kills children..education..education makes me sick..

  4. Here’s a bumper sticker I’d like to see. ‘We are the proud parents of a
child who has resisted his teachers’ attempts to break his spirit and bend
him to the will of his Corporate masters.’

  5. Whoever shot/ edited this video needs a kick in the face. We do not need
several close ups of Noam’s lips; while he might be education’s descended
angel, lip-face is just really shit. Booyakasha.

  6. Noam Chomsky discusses the purpose of education, impact of technology,
whether education should be perceived as a cost or an investment and the
    value of standardised assessment.

I’d be thankful if someone can upload on youtube the FULL epic 1971 debate
between Noam Chomsky & Michel Foucault about human nature, justice and
    power.
This is a transcript of the more than an hour fruitful debate
    http://www.chomsky.info/debates/1971xxxx.htm

  7. Some interesting thoughts on education as a whole. On technology in
education, Chomsky says that technology is “neutral.” “It’s kind of like
a hammer,” he says, “the hammer doesn’t care whether you use it to build a
house, or whether a torturer uses it to crush somebody’s skull.” Sounds
uncontroversial enough, but I can think of some great thinkers who thought
otherwise. What do others think, any challengers to Chomsky?
