+JCToxik That 97% study is flawed to begin with. The study was bias towards
Global warming and was sent out to about 10,000 scientists. Of those 10,000
only about 3,000 bothered to actually complete and return the stupid thing.
The problem isn’t CO2 from the current atmosphere its the CO2 from the
ground being unearthed, processed, transported and burnt. This FINITE loop
we are becoming more and more reliant on, takes the Earth-stored carbon
products and burns them, hence changing them into gas, polluting the
atmosphere. This rate is increasing whereas the rate in which carbon is
stored back in the earth is the same as always. See the problem?
Also to add, quite a few people hold the misconception that carbon-dioxide
is responsible for ozone depletion when in fact pollutants like the CFC’s
in aerosol cans or other by-products of refining fuel or plastics or many
other chemicals. Now the world is a giant chemistry set and we are
programmed to not give a shit about anything but the new iPhone. congrats
species.

Carbon monoxide
radon
mercury vapor
cadmium vapor
“organic compounds”
which eats away the o-zone away and allows super ultraviolet rays of

chemicals in our lakes, sea, rivers, pollute the air and the food. We

I found this interview to be quite infuriating. Yes, plants and trees
thrive on CO2, but this is not what affects the global climate change. The
global climate change is the change in the amount of energy stored in the
atmosphere. This is highly influenced by the amount of CO2-particulates in
the atmosphere (in the way that infrared radiation is reflected back to
earth). Yes, the atmosphere consisted of about 30% CO2 some 750 mya, but we
would not be able to live in that era…
What does Monckton mean by the “near proterozoic era”? The proterozoic eon
lasted from 2.5 bya to approximately 542 mya…
