  1. “Stay hungry. Stay foolish.”

Remembering Steve Jobs on what would have been his 59th birthday.

  2. It was this speech that changed my opinion on Jobs, although I’m still no
fan of Apple, only an asshole would deny that here was a great man taken
    before his time.

  3. Here’s a man who found out what he wanted, and knew how to get it. Steve
Jobs understood life. This is a true success story, to me. Even if people
say he was a jerk, well, sometimes you have to be a dick to get what you
want. If someone tells you that you can’t achieve something, you give them
a big “up yours” and do it. Never succumb to negativity.

  4. Look I can understand not liking Steve Jobs but disliking this video is
stupid just because this is just a very moving speech

  5. After reading through the comments, I just realized who all the “Dislike”rs
    were.

They are probably one of the following, either: Anti-American, foreigners
who hate Apple due to some form of competition they have in their country,
stupid or nonsensical people (talking about religion, like “God said you
are contaminating the world”; wow, really?), people who don’t understand
the context of the speech at all (i.e. “he said dying was good!”), or
simply just outrageous “That is totally lie! He is reading it all!”.

There’s always outliers. Not everyone can comprehend this speech
    apparently.

  6. Noone wants to die. Even when people want to go to the heaven, they don’t
want to die to get there :)

  7. Was that Steve Balmer in the audience around the 36:53 mark? Wonder what he
    was thinking witnessing this.

  8. I think Tim cook is in the audience when it pans through to the people from
20:00 to 38:00 he is seen a few times
