  1. Easy to say, a bit harder to do. The catch. You need to practice running
to get better at running with better form. One way to analyze form is to
set up a video camera and run right at it to see if you are following some
    of these mechanics.

  2. Avoid hard impact with the ground. Shorter stride = less impact
(generally). Whether heel striking or forefoot striking the lighter you are
on your feet the less damage you do to knees, ankles and hips etc.
Form is everything. Do not just pick up trainers and just run. It will go
wrong. Somewhere. Someday. Every other sport teaches you about technique to
help you get better. Think about swimming. If your form isn’t good, you’re
    not good.

  3. Be angry! One of the biggest motivators to run fast, long, and hard is to
channel your anger into fuel when you run. You’d be surprised how much
energy it can generate. I believe in being positive, and yet the best
runs I have are when I’m extremely perturbed about something. Of course
you’ve got to have big heart, and “the eye of the tiger”! Sounds cheesy but
true. Very good tips offered here on this video, but the mechanics ain’t
sh*t if you ain’t got the fire!

  4. Simple tips to improve running. Remember change is hard but if that will
make you a better runner, will you do it?!

  5. I am confused with conflicting opinions that running experts have about
posture. Some recommend leaning forward while others recommend maintaining
a straight posture. I do my own thing, but it would have helped to know
what is technically the right thing to do.
