  1. Maybe if you freakin’ gave unskilled workers a chance and taught them how
to work! Then they could work and earn work experience… but they need
    work experience to work!

  2. they get rid of you before you get the 60 thou. they give it to a few and
expect you to believe you are going to be one of those guys. but they fire
you and get somebody else to do your simple job. The machinist cycle of
    life.

  3. My company is looking for computer programmers, electrical engineers,
mechanical engineers, software people. Send me a message if you’re looking.

  4. “Skills gap”. What a bunch of bullshit! That’s just an excuse to justify
sending jobs overseas. Do you really think that the uneducated populous of
the third world has some special skills that Americans don’t have? American
businesses used to train people to do jobs. Now they expect Masters degrees
for what used to be entry level jobs that you could train someone to do in
a matter of a couple of weeks. It’s just greed.

  5. While it is not feasible to train in ALL industries, there are MANY HUGE
American companies in production overseas with products that can be
assembled with green workers and a very short training period. They are
simply choosing a much higher profit margin over their own fellow
countrymen. This is especially sickening when these same business owners
KNOW how hard it is to get a leg up, yet have chosen the globalist elitist
philosophy over their own salt of the earth roots. Morals are a part too.

  6. The peoples choice I think is that effort should be just as important as
results. Some people don’t even put their whole 8 hours in and leave early,
but they still get the work done. I think the guy who puts in more effort
should get the good pay too even if not as good result, because its more
fair. I’m a luggage handler and I work hard, but they want me to learn the
computer. I’m 50 and need 10 more years to retire. I dont see why I need to
learn it, my job is to move the luggage

  7. Right you are! As soon shop owners realize the “win win” scenario in sheer
profit margin to outsource to China and other countries…as opposed to the
incredible operating costs (raw materials, machinery, tooling, cutting
fluids, proper scrap and waste disposal, maintanence, high utilitiy bills,
rental space, and labor) involved in a working shop…They become
    “middlemen” virtually overnight!

  8. why does it have to be so hard to get employed? company should hire any
people….they dont hire entry level ever! leaving many people unemployed
but thats okay its our problem that we are not employed and dying in hunger
to get a food stamp..and apartment expanse is ridiculously high that it
took almost all the money i earn…without a job, i have to be a
homeless..nobody give me a job because i cant speak english and i am
slow….whatever reason…but its okay with them to pay tax for other pe

  9. Agreed…Like I stated in one of my comments, manufacturers are just
looking for an excuse to outsource, turn into middlemen, and pocket the
    savings…

  10. actually, they don’t want to pay for higher skilled labor nor do they want
to train. they would much prefer that you pay to train their workers while
they keep their profits. btw this is the reason for the presidents “you
didn’t build that” argument during the campaign. companies want the profits
but don’t want to pay taxes and train their workers. who is left with the
bill? the taxpayer! vs 50 years ago when taxes were much higher and
companies trained workers even at the expense of profits.

  11. I agree. And unfortunately China doesn’t seem to be developing much of a
strong middle class. Instead they have or claim to have 1 million
millionaires. But the vast majority like less than 10% are middle class.
Wish they at least built a middle class that we can start trading with and
they would as you said demand higher pay so we don’t keep deflating wages
    fueling dangerous wealth disparity.

  12. Tried collage, didn’t work, then got into a VA appn.in machining .I am
still in the trade and love it .Where are all the go getters out there .You

resolve to make your boss happy .I your boss knows you will make him money
you will be valued by him .

silenced by her co host for being plain moronic.

  15. It’s funny listening to Steve talking about how their maps app blows away
Google maps, when in reality it flopped massively.

  16. Walt Mossberg : “you’ll get into trouble for using the term ‘post-pc
    device’

Steve Jobs : “WHY?” (with those piercing, Like A Boss eyes)

  17. Lets forget the apple vs micsrosoft battle for a minute. Jus look at these
