Toy Story meets Pulp Fiction

Video I made many years ago.

This video is part 1 of 2 or 3 videos I plan to do for my buddy cfmotoracer who is a fellow 1/6 scale figure collector and customizer. He wanted to know a li…

  1. @tstaylor24 I did it a LONG and convoluted way. First i ripped the video
and audio from the actual DVDs using Handbrake. I had to convert it from
h.264 (a codec) to Quicktime. I put the entire video of TS and the PF
trailers into Final Cut and made subclips. That’s a whole other lesson.
Then i just edited the video clips i made to play over the audio. There are
easier ways to do this. There are cheaper ways too. But it was the way i
did it so that’s the way i explained.

  2. Thanks! It could have been a lot cleaner but I rushed through it in 36
hours for a class. I may update it if I get some time.

  3. @kairus1 Thanks! Yup, I use my iPad in every way I can… searching for
reference pics to bring with me while I search for parts at shows, music
while I work, e-mails, ebay, and of course watching my favorite YouTube
    vids!

  4. @knightslade2007 Thanks again for viewing and all the kind words, my
friend! Very much appreciated and I’m so glad you’re still viewing my crazy
    little videos! 🙂

  5. He introduced himself to Bruce Wayne when he was in prison as Henri Ducard.
But he figured it out that Ducard was actually Ras Al Ghul after the fake
Ras Al Ghul was killed in the fire. You have to re-watch Begins my friend!
    And enjoy it again!

  6. Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaantastic
    compliments GREAT JOB!!!!!

  7. @moggie215 Thanks, Morris! I’m always trying to share what I can and
hopefully spark some ideas with fellow collectors or at least give some
creative inspiration. It just makes this hobby all the more fun to see what
    others come up with!

  8. @cbivins257 To get the tattoos off, I used a couple alcohol prep pads like
what you see the nurses/ doctors use in hospitals to wipe you skin before
sticking you with a needle/ shot. They seemed strong enough to wipe off the
paint with a bit of rubbing. A little bit of the brown flesh tone also came
off, so be careful not to work it too hard. I then touched it up from there
with a light coat/ watered down Tamiya red brown paint acrylic paint where
    needed.

  9. Do you make and sell these figures as well? I am also in the market for a
Ras Al Ghul 13 inch figure. AND finish up my Watchmen set. DC Direct only
released 3 characters. I would like to finish up the set with the other 3
characters: Ozymandias, Nite Owl, and Silk Spectre.

  10. @waynesbutler Thanks, bro! I’ve put myself of the list for a nice Ras
sculpt by Imaresqd1 who recently did some outstanding Bruce Wayne head
sculpts fro the Sideshow Freaks members. It might be quite awhile before
that get’s done and delivered, but for the meantime the HeadPlay version
will have to do and was a much cheaper alternative. Thanks again for
    watching!

  11. Great looking Ras. I know that Jules is going to look amazing once it’s
finished. You could always get the Zombie headsculpt of MJ off ebay (it
sells for a fair price) and remove the hair and put it on the Sam Jackson
    headsculpt?

  12. @deanknight333 Dean Dean Dean..! You can do it! I was fortunate enough to
have many of these parts sitting around like the Batman boots and the
gauntlets, but I think now they might be more pricey. While everyone was
looking for the Batman gauntlets, I went for the Demon Batman ones as they
had the texture I wanted anyways and were far cheaper. Now even those seem
to have gone up in price… 🙁 Anyhow, thanks again for viewing!
