I think it’s due to the prejudices against the two. Lesbian romances are
commonly more accepted than a relationship involving two men. The
psych-major in me wants to deduce that it’s because lesbian relationships
generally lack a penetration and are therefore seen as unthreatening.
Either way, the beauty of a romance in general is not the emotion of love,
but rather the lengths and bounds that the ones who find it will go to for
