I run my home the exact same way with the exception of daily dusting. I
don’t use a laundry basket. I fold and put away clothes immediately too.
Doing things daily really does work! That way you only need to spend an
hour a day cleaning instead of a whole day once a week. Things stay clean
and is so much easier to maintain. The only thing I DO procrastinate about
is ironing – now if I could only figure that one out!
if I had no kids I’d be this organized too.. well I was, when I wasn’t just
being lazy *wink*. no room for laziness now, its a mess if you slack just
1 day AND you can only do half of when u were able to before.
I grew up the same way my mom was a neat freak and always cleaning it has
rubbed off on me, my sister not so much lol. My sister always makes
comments about when you have kids it will change and i don’t think so
because i’ve always been this way, if you take a few minutes a day that is
better then taking a whole day away from your kids when you have them.

Can I come live with you guys!!! I am a complete neat freak!!! I cannot
rest or relax unless my surroundings are neat, organized and clean.
Unfortunately, my husband and my three boys don’t share my passion. I’ve
managed to get my kids to cooperate to a certain degree. I’ve got them
used to picking up their clothes and putting them in the hamper, taking
their plates to the sink and making their bed (sometimes). My
husband….he’s a lost cause. 🙁 He thinks I nag all the time about
keeping the house clean. I will say it was much easier before I had kids.
I wonder if this woman has a job outside of the home. If she does how many
hours a week does she work 40-60 etc. She does not even have her own
office, but a makeup room. I feel like this is from a 50s house wife?

I would love to see everything in your kitchen and see how everythings put
together, I’m the same way I hate messed everything has a place and should
be in it lol OCD for me.
I agree with ur method of cleaning n organization..my mom was the same..i
have 5 children but I still always clean up soon as we r done eatin or
whatever..thx 4 the share

Hey Laura… I know this is an older video but I would love to see an in
depth video on your cleaning and kitchen/pantry storage. I’m struggling
with ideas for my 50’s style pantry, the shelving is weird in sizes and
placement. Any ideas I can get would help greatly! You inspire all of us in

i think it’s not crazy that you like a clean and organized home .. Almost
everyone wants and love to have a clean and organized home <3 anyway if
you are not wearing a make up here you are still sooo GORGEOUS and FLAWLESS

thanks so much this is really helpful im a first time mom and first time
living on my own and first time living with my boyfriend and its like
always a mess and its stressing me out because I really want my house clean
alll the time… and I dont have anyone to really help me, like give me
advice or give good example of how to have things or what i should be
doing and not… theres is one women who live upstairs by the way… but
for some reason i feel like her cleaning methods and views are one the
verge of psychotic and if i touch anything I am going to get zapped by a
laser lol thanx so much and keep up the videos

Can you do a video on how your organize your pantry and stuff in your
kitchen? Thats the hardest place for me to keep organized
Lol. I am a cleaner, too. I hate messes BUT, I have three kids. Two boys
who play sports and a baby girl who takes up all my time. Ha! I have
learned that my kids happiness is way more important than me obsessing over
everything being perfect. In my twenties I was able to have a schedule.
Now, in my thirties with a house full of kids = lots of messes, playing,
practically living at the ball field and FUN! Life is too short to obsess
over the small stuff. I am learning to let go and just enjoy.
Sorry me again lol. But this vid is brilliant im trying to learn how to be
the ‘perfect wife’ lol and I would just love to turn into a clean freak
lool. We need to know more about the things your mum taught you about home
perfection!

Thanks Clara, honestly the most brilliant thing ever is the idea of putting
your umbrella in that spot, right where you can reach it whenever it rains!
For years I’ve kept my umbrella in the trunk which makes it soo difficult
to get to it when it’s pouring out- usually it’s tucked behind whatever
else is in my trunk so I dont even bother! Thanks again for sharing 🙂

I like the organization but I don’t understand the stuff like a sewing kit-
you can’t use it when you drive? The province has strict distracted driving
laws, your phone cannot be near you and putting on makeup would get you a
huge ticket. I have nothing on my car- I just drive! Emergency stuff of
course,
