  1. dude… The 62 ohms k712’s are harder to drive than a 300 ohms HD650.
Frequency response doesn’t matter as long as it goes from 20hz-20khz, and
the SPL level only tells you how loud the headphones can get in theory with
a certain amount of power. There isn’t very many cans that can even get up
to 105 db without distortion. 85db is the point at which you are damaging
your hearing, and each 10db increase is essentially doubling the volume. So
105db is 4 times louder than is needed to damage your hearing. A rock
concert is 120db. Actually, there’s only two headphone able to get over
125db without distorting the signal being played back… And those have
55mm subwoofers. JVC SZ2000 and SZ1000. Note that they wont get that loud
    unless you amp them.

  2. I did try the KRK KNS-8400 and they sound like crap, they really do, there
is no base and i am missing a lot of tones. I got myself an Audio-technica
ATH-M50x and there is simply no comparison. They sound just marvelous,
enough of base the sound clarity is just unmatched. I tried several head
phones and no one comes even close to the Audio-technica M50x

  3. Are the AKG K712 Pro’s good for any type of music referencing like Trance
music with higher compression and RMS levels? Cheers.

  4. I just got some CAD Audio headphones the Mh310 as a second pair for people
who come to the studio to use and was wondering how they sound if you guys
ever used them. It’s only one review of these that I found.

  5. is the KRK kns 6400 good for edm production? i mainly produce trance and
electro house. so should i go with them?
