  3. what is the best way to splice and connect the wires from the camera to
hardwire it to my house? The power and coaxial cable are already installed
and sticking out of the house. But I want to splice the wires on the camera
to connect them to give the most professional look

  4. good – well thought out – and concise video – thanks – your video answered
a lot of questions I was thinking about regarding installing some video
    surveillance at my home.

  5. Good Vid; one question – when I built my house I ran extra Cat 5e cable to
many of the locations where I would like cameras. Can that cable be used
to establish the BNC and power connections you referenced in your video?

  6. how can you water proof the bnc cables ? Should they be exposed to
    weather?is 3.6m lens a wide lens? explain

  7. Pretty cool . I did one at our old store location exactly like that. But Im
looking into our new location so I appreciate the EBAY info.Ive been buying
complete systems which leave little options. Now I can nbuild it to my
    specs. Thanks.

  8. Thanks for the video. Do yo have a shopping list of items to build a 4
camera system? I want to do this at my house, and you make it look super
    simple.

  9. DVR, 4 50 or 100 ft pieces of BNC Cable, a BNC “Octopus” connector, BNC
Power Supply, 4 Cameras, and a cheap TV and RCA cable.

  10. It takes some planning. Most homes can be wired from the attic, or a crawl
space. It really is worth it though. It took two days to do mine.
