Gonna take a guess and say that the meaning behind the lyrics are of a
person with a friend or someone they know resorting to drugs aka medicine
and how they want their friend to go back to how they were when they first
met, and how it is bad for them (obviously), “you’ve got a beautiful brain,
but it’s disintegrating.” Probably a bit obvious if you listen to the
lyrics but I’m gonna Google to double check and see if I’m right/close
enough.
