  1. The book is almost as wide as your chest. You’re a skinny kid, ah. Don’t
you load up some weights, get swole, lean out, and then come and criticize
a book that is written for your own benefit. The diet works. And it’s a
fast track, not something you stick to long term.
If your diet is vegan, understand you make up a super small percentage of
the people and companies looking to help the majority of people are not
going to dilly daddle in the vegan craze. Especially when bodybuilding
    requires a large protein intake.

  2. everyone’s body is different so you cant say that the diet won’t work for
other people. honestly you could use any diet you want as long as you are
exercising. all that matters is 1) you’re eating enough and getting enough
nutrients to sustain your body and 2) exercise A LOT like at least a hard
hour a day with one day off a week and you’ll drop weight or gain muscle or
whatever you are looking to get out of it. but you do need protein no
matter what you do, and fresh meat is a great source.

  3. I am not a vegan or a vegeterian, but these magazines are supported by
particular industries. So I agree they are definitely biased, yes meat is
definitely good for building muscle but you don’t need to eat it 3 times a
day that’s definitely excessive and deli meats with high salt content are
    never good for you.

  4. I’m actually on a mend health diet and jesus it works miraculous. I’m 204
pounds and 6″ 3. Playing football and basketball has not felt this good in
years and I feel like your just a butt hurt vegetarian that wants to save
    the animals.

  5. That diet is incredibly bad! While that sort of diet may aid in people’s
rapid fat loss, it is not healthy, nor sustainable in the long run. As a
licensed personal trainer, (I also hold several nutrition certifications,
including weight-loss nutrition), I would never advise a client to eat any
processed foods. Their calorie calculation method is ridiculous! It can
take half an hour up to a week to calculate an individual’s caloric
requirements; usually using one or more caculation table.

  6. You can say I am misinformed if you want. I was a vegan for over 5 years. I
decision I have much regret. I spent the years when my hormone levels were
most optimal being weak and skinny. I am not against fruits and veggies at
all nor am I against vegans. I am against the dogma. There are vegans that
buy industrial foods. Industrial foods are far worse for the environment
then buying some chickens from a local family farmer or a quarter of a cow.

  7. Yawn….. So um… yes, “protein should be limited”.. So where do we
disagree?? I fail to understand where we disagree friend. You seem right on
with your statement. “Protein should be limited.” I think we’re both right
    on! High five! 🙂

  8. Have you ever heard of anyone getting diabetes from fruit? And not high
fructose corn syrup, fruit juice, Fruit Rolls Ups or any of that bullshit,
but actual fruit? Why have people reversed their diabetes on the 80/10/10
    diet?

  9. Mainly the fact that it works in the SHORT TERM. The truth is the body
cannot sustain a low carb primal paleo, Atkins type of diet in the long
run. It is hard on the lymphatic system, it is had don the kidneys and
liver, it is hard on the joins, it is constipating, and it is creates toxic
waste buildup in the body. Have you ever met the guys that are several
months, or years, in to a low carb primal paleo diet? They are cranky,
grumpy, tired, and worst of all, they smell like shit! GO FRUITARIAN

  10. The low carb thing is just a lot of meat and dairy industry propaganda No,
your intake of protein should be limited. You gain weight because you eat
to many protein. Get the low carb diet straight, you are the one at fault
    here.

  11. There is a difference between complex carbs coming from grains and legumes
and the simple carbs coming from fruit. I agree, complex carbs will make
you tired because they have opioids, opiate like compounds in them that
make us sleepy. The best source of carbs for humans is vitamin, mineral,
    phytonutirent, antioxidant, enzyme rich fruits.
