Height doesn’t matter!? WTF? I would argue that climbing 8000m peaks
without bottled O2 is the most difficult. Anyone can push hard for a
couple of days, but doing it for weeks when you’re sleep deprived and
starving for oxygen requires a whole different level of mental toughness.
Get expert instruction, but for starters, read Mountaineering: Freedom of
the Hills, 8th edition.

what is different about everest is that much of it is not based on your
actual climbing experience, fitness, or preparation. an unfit climber can
fair very well on everest while a prepared climber that is in shape can
quickly develop a sickness and die-this is presumably caused by your body’s
efficiency with processing oxygen. The actual science of it is not known
very well mostly because the conditions are so harsh that testing is very
difficult. obviously this is a very in depth topic…

Where do you start to learn about mountaineering? I want to climb it with a
guide. But have no experience mountaineering 🙁
He’s mistaking technical difficultly with stamina and mental hardness when
he’s talking about everest. And the narrator saying that everest is a jaunt
in the hills to most alpinists is an absurd thing to say. Mountaineers? The
best climbers are the ones who make it back down, and the way that dude
climbs, combined with his attitude bodes unwell.

Aplausos ! ! Che esta muy bueno lo que hicieron. Imaginate que como amante
de la montaña uno ha visto muchos videos. Este muestra una escalada con
clima argento. Además tiene un par de escenas que están mostradas muy
naturalmente. Me gustaron mucho las que dejan percibir el sonido de ese
momento, el de la piqueta golpeando contra el hielo. La verdad
felicitaciones y no lo digo por la cumbre sino por haber disfrutado el
trayecto y por dejarnos estar un poco ahí.Tendría que haber sido mas larga.
