  1. This is actually an amazing project! join the #nationalgeographic
#genographic project to find out who u really are! get down to your real
ancient origins…and find out that we all belong to the same big human
    family.

  2. How many assumptions are built into these test results? There is a lot of
‘science’ today that is built upon assumption taken as writ so I wish I
could trust it before I forked over hard earned money. So often science is
used with a predetermined agenda in mind where science takes a back seat.

  3. The Genographic Project is a multiyear research initiative led by +National
    Geographic Explorer-in-Residence Dr. Spencer Wells…

  4. Take a closer look into where you came from based on your specific DNA. How
much Neanderthal are you? Denisovian? Genome 2.0 project/Nat. Geo

  5. Thanks “Global Genographic” (National thinking no longer works) 41%
Mediterranean 40% Northern European 17% Southwest Asian … and much more
of my story, go to my channel !

  6. Has anyone ordered the Genographic package? What do you find in the
results? I don’t want them to tell me that my ancestors come from Africa,
that I already know thanks to Darwin, but I want to know about my recent
heritage, maybe 3000 to 4000 years ago.

  7. There was no Phase Two offered when we purchased it. Everything promised in
Phase Two was promised in Phase One. I feel like we got a ‘bait and switch’
and I NEVER expected to be disappointed with anything from National
    Geographic.

  8. Thank you…after one year as the family “Sherlock” ……..there is a
monster in my head, which is safer place than with the pile of papers….

  9. I did the DNA test, the results are fine but the connections are not what I
    expected. I’m disappointed in that.

  10. Your mom’s first cousin is your first cousin once removed. Your mom’s first
cousin’s children are your second cousins.

  11. I have noticed there are many videos from this young lady. Is there a
listing on where they start and what is next?

  12. Deanna – I’m not quite sure what you are asking. All adult men in the U.S.
in 1917/1918 were required to register for the World War One Draft. You can
then use the 1920 census (column on the far right) to determine if they
actually served in WWI or not. I hope that helps. If you need more
    information just ask. (Crista)

  13. I’ve been doing genealogy since 2006, thanks to Henry Louis Gates Jr’s
African American Lives series. But these videos are helping me navigate and
use my new Family Tree Maker software. Now I have a centralized place to
put all my notes. It would be nice if this software had a research log,
    though.
