  1. Read a lot of sci fi. The best: The Hyperion Cantos. Read it! Great
    audiobooks aswell, esp. the first (it’s 4 books) Dune is the best audiobook
    I’ve listened too tho (audible version)

  2. at 11:00 your talking about how you burnout on a game in X amount of time.
    I played an mmofps called Battleground Europe. the devs wanted the most
    realistic experience possible so everything is based on physics, even
    avatar damage. no leveling at all. everything was based on skill.
    it took me 8 years of daily play to get burned out on it. the only reason I
    don’t play anymore is the fact that it is almost dead with little
    population.

    skill based gameplay where time in game means nothing will make the game
    last a long time.

  3. The whole “early access” thing really only works for indie games, I don’t
    like big companies pumping out early access for AAA games.

  4. I Think We Are Suppose To Have Weekend Betas, So We Don’t Get borded
    Before Star Citizen Before Release.

  5. Early access is not bad for some games.. but for games that have multi
    player as a core feature it is such a good idea….. it works well with
    KSP, It gets a little problematic with a game Like SC, bet even though I
    dont think its going to be as big a problem as you think….

  6. Fantasy and sci-fi are two different things. As the name suggest fantasy is
    fantasy, without any ties to our real world. While Sci-Fi is just that,
    scientific fiction. Fiction in not so obscure manner, but in a manner we
    can relate to and is believable.
    It is the exact reason why sci-fi is more popular than fantasy stuff.

  7. This was actually the first of your shows I did not like. To little SC in
    it tbh.
    Otherwise a great series and I am a fanboy :)

  8. What I really want is for the Singleplayer part to be released before the
    persistent universe…
    so I can finish the story without the nasty feeling that I’m being
    overtaken in the persistent universe by people who skipped the SQ42.

    I know they will make smaller part releases of the SQ42, but I want that
    info to register when the PU comes around so I can jump straight into
    exploring the universe!

  9. i dont know if this has been addressed (by fans or CIG), but for squadron
    42, will the story also be “unique” to you, where you decide the outcome
    (like choose your own adventure), and perhaps you even get to “choose” the
    names of everyone you meet (like in old rpgs)? so that when you’re in the
    PU, your character’s history will be “unique” and not like everyone else
    who’s graduated into the PU.
